Just a Few Announcements…

Things are happening!

First off, I totally meant to have an essay post up this week… but I can’t find the essay (yes, it’s one I wrote in college five years ago, but I evidently only have a print out of it somewhere in my house. I can’t find it on any of my old flash drives). So it’s coming eventually.

Second, the big one:

I have a post up on Tameri Etherton’s blog today! If you want to know why reading and writing fantasy has such an important spot in my life, you want to read this post.

Third, pretty much as equally important as the previous thing, I’m fundraising for NaNoWriMo with StayClassy this year! I always try to personally donate to NaNoWriMo as well, but this year the budget is tight, so I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to do more than $10-15 on my own. But I want to help them out as much as possible, because they’ve done so much for me. So, if you love writing and promoting literacy among children AND adults, please consider donating!

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! Do you have anything exciting going on?

What do you think?

About Rebekah

Rebekah Loper writes character-driven epic fantasy featuring resilient women in trying and impossible circumstances who just want to save themselves but usually end up saving the world, often while falling in love.
She lives in Tulsa, OK with her husband, dog, two formerly feral cats, a small flock of feathered dragons (...chickens. They're chickens), and an extensive tea collection. When she's not writing, she battles the Oklahoma elements in an effort to create a productive, permaculture urban homestead.
