Come On, Christmas – My 25 Favorite Christmas Songs (Dec 4)

This is probably the craziest song on my favorite list this year.

I’m not quite as bad as he sings right at the start, though, with “I left the lights up all year round.”

The longest mine have ever stayed up is ahem February-ish?

Yes, we’ll go with February-ish.

Because, as West continues to sing “I just couldn’t bear the thought of taking them down.”

Christmas is as much about joy as it is redemption and sacrifice. And this song always makes me feel like getting up and dancing. There’s very few funky moods that it can’t pull me out of.

For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay.

What do you look forward to the most about Christmas? Do you have any favorite Christmas songs that just make you want to get up and dance?

It's cheesy and fun. Just like this song.
