I’ll be honest, I’m kind of throwing this together at the last minute. Somehow, I blinked and January was gone and… it was SEPTEMBER? What?!
But September means that National Novel Writing Month (aka NaNoWriMo) is only two months away! I’m semi-rebelling this year and rewriting (and hopefully finishing) the unfinished manuscript I ended up with last year. I’ve almost finished plotting, but I need to make some serious progress on the worldbuilding.
So, this year, why don’t you worldbuild with me?
Running Monday, September 3rd thru Wednesday, October 31st, I’ll send you three lessons per week to guide you through creating a cohesive, extensive world just in time for you to churn out those 50,000 words in November. Even if you’re not participating in NaNo, you’re more than welcome to join the prep course! You do not need to purchase The A-Zs of Worldbuilding in order to participate.
Note: The course is free. I realized I never actually specified this anywhere. Oops!
This is not going to be as in-depth as The A-Zs of Worldbuilding book is – it’s going to a brief overview to help you get the bare bones of your world in place so that you can continue to develop it as you write.
When you sign up for the course, you’ll also get a coupon code for 20% the print book version of The A-Zs of Worldbuilding. Unfortunately, this code will only be good in my aerbook shop until October 31, 2018.
I will also, at the end of September, give away TWO print copies of the A-Zs of Worldbuilding (one US, one international) to two lucky participants in the A-Zs of Worldbuilding NaNo Prep Course. The course will give you a jump-start, and you’ll be able to refer to the book during NaNo as you come up with questions about your world.
So, will you come along for this adventure? Sign up below by entering your name and email, and selecting the checkbox for the course! Bonus: If you sign up for the course before the end of September, you’ll get the ebook version of The A-Zs of Worldbuilding FOR FREE.
If you’re already signed up for my newsletter, don’t worry – this will just update your preferences. It won’t sign you up again.
