Nice, orderly plants. You can tell I had plans here.
Other half of the mulched part. Still have much more to go.
Where you can tell my plans went awry – welcome to Tomato Jungle!
First harvest!
First ripe Cherokee Purple!
First pico de gallo with homegrown tomatoes and jalapeno!
First big harvest, part one!
First big harvest, part two!
TOMATOZILLA. 1 lb, 1.1 oz Cherokee Purple.
TOMATOZILLA IS RIPE AND READY FOR EATING.
My pretty basket for gathering things. I’m rather proud of this picture.

August 23, 2014 - 4:24 pm ·Thanks! I’m going to be making a giant batch of tomato sauce on Monday and canning it. Hopefully I won’t have to buy any again for a while.
