Homemade Bounties – My Holiday Table Blog Hop

Wow, it’s somehow time for Maria Zannini’s Holiday Spread blog-hop. Not sure how it’s time for it, but it is!

I wish I could say that half of the items (or more) on both my Thanksgiving and Christmas tables were homegrown. Sadly… none of it was. Except for the eggs in the pumpkin pie.

That can be a goal for next year.

But everything was made from scratch. No canned pumpkin here, no sirree. Mmm, mmm.

We had about 12-15 people for Thanksgiving. Christmas Day (er, Eve) was only seven of us.

  1. Look at you so fancy with a slide show. That’s brilliant! Your Thanksgiving spread looked like enough food to feed an army.

I’m posting your link in this morning’s blog. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

  2. Oh, my goodness, everything looks so delicious!!!

I didn’t have a special Christmas dinner, but on New Year Day I’m cooking my grandpa’s traditional lunch. My grandpa would cook for DAYS over the holidays. I can’t do that, but at least I can do it for one special day 😉
