Wow, it’s somehow time for Maria Zannini’s Holiday Spread blog-hop. Not sure how it’s time for it, but it is!
I wish I could say that half of the items (or more) on both my Thanksgiving and Christmas tables were homegrown. Sadly… none of it was. Except for the eggs in the pumpkin pie.
That can be a goal for next year.
But everything was made from scratch. No canned pumpkin here, no sirree. Mmm, mmm.
We had about 12-15 people for Thanksgiving. Christmas Day (er, Eve) was only seven of us.
Look at you so fancy with a slide show. That’s brilliant! Your Thanksgiving spread looked like enough food to feed an army.
I’m posting your link in this morning’s blog. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
Haha, well, we did have a small army here for Thanksgiving, so… yeah, lol.
Thanks, Maria! Hope your Christmas was wonderful, too!
I think I’d be living at the dessert table! It all looked yummy. 🙂
The desert table didn’t even have the homemade cinnamon ice cream my mom made!
Oh man. I love steak pie so much. I’m going to have to ask my sis to make her guiness steak pie for me now
Oooh, Guinness steak pie sounds delicious too!
The wreath is so beautiful! I’d love to have something like that, but I’m afraid someone would catch on fire passing food around.
I did stick my hand in the candle flame a couple of times while passing food around. But fortunately nothing actually burned or caught fire over the course of the evening!
This is where I should have gone for my Christmas dinner. Can I get an invite next year? LOL It all looks so yummy. Okay, going to lunch now, dang!!
You can come if you do all the dishes afterward!
That looks so good, Rebekah. Your gathering was well and truly fed…and I’m thinking of all those amazing leftovers. I’m still drooling over the steak pie 🙂
I made a grave error and let my mom take home ALL the leftover steak pie. Was regretting that over the weekend… oh well!
Looks good!
Hold on… What are SPROUTS doing there?!
SPROUTS ARE DELICIOUS. Deal with it. 😛
You’re breaking my red-meat-clogged heart!
Oh, my goodness, everything looks so delicious!!!
I didn’t have a special Christmas dinner, but on New Year Day I’m cooking my grandpa’s traditional lunch. My grandpa would cook for DAYS over the holidays. I can’t do that, but at least I can do it for one special day 😉
