It is 11:06 pm on November 30th as I sit down to write this post. Okay, honestly, I’ve already been sitting down for the majority of the past 4 hours, because we’re having our last-chance write-in, and boy did I need it this year.

How is it November 11 already? I don’t understand…
I… hit a snare with my NaNoWriMo novel yesterday. I didn’t really appreciate that I hit it on the 2nd busiest day of my week, but I am glad I hit it near the end of the first week instead of in the middle of the second one.
I’m not sure how the first weekend of November has already flown by. It feels like it should still be Friday, but nope. It’s Monday. Monday.
The host smiled at me from across the set. “Are you excited, Alison?”
“Very excited!” I smiled back, but not too widely. It wouldn’t do for them to see the missing teeth.
