Blogging Just… Doesn’t Happen When You’re Sick

So… this week did not go as planned. At all.

Monday was… less than stellar. I really don’t want to rehash it.

Tuesday was… also less than stellar. I’m still not sure if I had (mild) food poisoning, a migraine, or possibly both. I’ll just say there was unpleasant head pain and vomiting (but not enough head pain to have actually caused the vomiting on its own), and leave it at that. But there was no fever.

Wednesday-Thursday, I was feeling better, mostly exhausted, and still a little queasy. There were many naps.

Friday I was feeling more like myself. I was (finally) able to go do the grocery shopping – which is good, because we were out of food. Friday afternoon was… bizarre. Because of this:

I was very grateful it happened later in the afternoon, on a Friday, because hubby would be home all weekend. Just in case they were trying to case the house so they could rob us. I don’t think they will, but in our part of town… you never know. I’m keeping the pepper spray close the next couple of weeks, just in case.

And all of THAT to say… I’m behind on so much right now.

I wanted to have several blog posts ready to go for the month of July, and I have nothing written.

July is also the start of the final round of Camp NaNoWriMo for this year, and I’m going to be using it to finish my A-Zs of Worldbuilding Workbook. I also have some around-the-house projects that HAVE to get done soon.

So the blog may be a little slow for the next couple of weeks, as I try to catch up on some things from the back-end of it. Yay catch-up…

I’m sorry you’ve been feeling poorly… And I would’ve flipped out if someone had knocked on my bedroom window like that! Yikes.

Anyway, here’s to feeling better and getting stuff done. (high fives)

Fortunately mom was able to come out Tuesday evening and help with dinner, because I’d planned something a bit too complicated for hubby and sis to handle on their own. But I didn’t have anything ELSE for them to fend for themselves with, because Wednesday is grocery day, most of the time. So that was interesting, lol.

Icky. I’m glad you’re starting to feel better. I never get anything done when I’m sick too. I just want someone to take care of me. That story about the knocking makes me glad I’m on the second story of my apartment building. Although, if I ever hear knocks on the window I will utterly FREAK OUT!
